To address the critical need for accessible, safe and culturally appropriate support for young women aged 14 – 25 years to engage in sport as a career pathway. Provides coaching, mentoring and practical supports to enable young women to engage in their chosen sporting career.

This program creates a space for young women to engage in collaborative programs working with Defence and Emergency Services to provide practical pathways and network connections to assist increased representation of diversity.

The Women's Empowerment Program exists to address the critical need for accessible, safe, and culturally appropriate positive female role models for young women aged 12-18 years. It aims to provide essential guidance and support through discussion and physical activities.

Provide opportunities for everyone to come together and celebrate events (e.g. NAIDOC, Reconciliation). Outcomes include celebration of culture, improved physical and emotional wellbeing, teamwork, and social skills.

Support Our MissionIron Traks is a not-for-profit organisation committed to creating fairer opportunities in sport and the wider community. We believe every young woman deserves access to support, guidance, and pathways that help her reach her potential.
Our work focuses on young women facing disadvantage, particularly those from Indigenous, Pacific Islander, and culturally diverse backgrounds. We use sport as a starting point to build confidence, develop life skills, and open doors to education and career opportunities.
Through structured programs, mentoring, and community events, we provide practical support and positive role models. We aim to strengthen resilience, integrity, and teamwork so these young women feel capable, connected, and confident stepping into leadership roles within their communities.

Former Police Officer, captained the first ever Indigenous Women's All Star Team in 2010 and has been voted one of the top six female players ever to pull on a jersey. She has represented Australia in two Rugby League World Cups and has played 16 test Matches for the Australian Jillaroos.
Tracey has a unique ability to connect and engage with children and people, mainly due to her level of enthusiasm and passion to want to Motivate-Inspire-Transform people to unlock their full potential.

A young female ready to empower the next generation, Kirra has represented South East Queensland in the first ever U16s Rugby League Team, Northern Territory Titans U23s Rugby League and Northern Territory Titans in the state championships for 2022.
Kirra is on a mission and is very passionate about helping people overcome their fears, building confidence and helping people to accept their past and move on to unlock their full potentials.

Co-founder Kirra Muggeridge has been recognized as a finalist for her leadership and dedication to uplifting young women.
Katrina is a psychologist, world powerlifting champion, coach and mentor. Her passion is driven by her lived experience of surviving a serious motor bike accident followed by a prolonged rehabilitation.
Katrina founded the Women's Sports Academy driven by her vision of a more equitable sporting landscape. Through education, mentoring, and support she is passionate about shaping a future where every girl and woman in Australia can reach their full potential in the sporting world.

Meet the experienced professionals who share a deep commitment to our mission of empowering women.

Veronica is a trailblazer in Australian women's rugby league, with an outstanding career as a Jillaroos player (17 caps), coach, and administrator. As the first female president and life member of the Australian Women's Rugby League, she played a key role in launching the Women's Interstate Challenge now State of Origin.
A proud teacher and community leader, Veronica was awarded the NRL's Veronica White Medal in 2019 and inducted into the NRL Hall of Fame in 2024. Through Iron TRAKS, she continues to empower and mentor future female leaders, using her passion, strength, and experience to guide the next generation.

Tracey is a trailblazer in women's sport and community leadership. A former Australian Jillaroos player, she represented her country in 16 test matches and two Rugby League World Cups, and captained the inaugural Indigenous Women's All-Stars.
A former Queensland Police Officer, Tracey is deeply committed to mentoring young women, especially those from First Nations and diverse backgrounds.
As Co-founder of Iron Traks, she leads programs that build confidence, resilience, and cultural connection through sport and education.

Megan is a proud mum of two and a passionate women's mental health advocate. She is dedicated to empowering people to be the change they wish to see in their communities and within themselves. In her early career, Megan was a Legal Assistant for 10 years before moving into the not-for-profit sector for the last 15 years, leading and transforming volunteer programs. Megan leads with empathy and a person-centered approach and draws on her lived experience to connect and build relationships.

Chris is a chartered accountant with a robust career spanning over two decades in private clubs, community clubs, professional sports and other industries. His career includes roles at the Queensland Reds, Royal Queensland Golf Club and Broncos Leagues Club managing the financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency and alignment of financial strategies with organisational goals.

Kelly Ryan is a proud Dunghutti woman, born in Brisbane with family connections to Kempsey Country. For more than two decades, Kelly has worked at the grassroots level supporting families, young people and community organisations. She currently serves as a Police Liaison Officer with the Queensland Police Service (QPS), where she helps build trust, cultural understanding and practical pathways between community and police. Kelly is deeply committed to empowering young girls, creating safe spaces for their voices, and strengthening community relationships through consistent, on-the-ground engagement.
